How would a Saint Seiya and Sailor Moon crossover work?

I mistrust it would function. Both shows deal with mythology but in very alternative ways. Mars would be technically a villain from the pov of the saints.

That can be easily solved by knowing two background facts:
  1. We don't realize when the Silver Millennium happened, except that it was before the invention of (modern) writing and somehow some knowledge filtered down so that Greeks and Romans knew of their people as divinities.
  2. Saint Seiya's gods are actually humans who awakened the Eight Instinct (or even the Ninth in some cases), either born from normal people or "gods", who predate the descent of Atlantis (destroyed by Athena and her Saints during the first war against Poseidon) and of Mu (destroyed after the above, unclear if it was a spontaneous catastrophe or Athena dealing with the rebellious Cloth makers that created the Black Cloths).
If their universes are fused, it would be easy to include the Silver Millennium predate Saint Seiya's gods, or even have the earliest "gods&q

Netflix's 'Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya' and the problems of representation in media

Netflix is all put to release ‘Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya’, a remake of the classic s anime,  and the upcoming show has already been met with controversy. The debate is about a certain ethics who was gender-swapped from male to female but the problem is a little more nuanced than it might appear at first glance.

The original ‘Saint Seiya’ anime was an extremely popular show that still maintains a cult following. It featured mostly male characters, which to be honest is not that surprising considering the time of its emit. The controversy surrounding the remake erupted back in December when it was revealed that one of the original characters, Andromeda Shun, has been gender-swapped for the new series.

The problem isn’t just that Shun was a highly popular character in the original anime. The Bronze Saint was arguably one of the strongest characters on the business but he displayed a very kind, peaceable disposition. He was very sensitive and effemina

Naoko Takeuchi and LBGT

How on earth are Uranus and Neptune considered one of the foremost portrayals of a gay couple in a manga? In the manga Haruka seems to possess feelings for Usagi and even kisses her. Naoko Takeuchi basically uses this plotline to reaffirm the feelings that the heterosexual couple have for eachother (Mamoru and Usgai), meanwhile Haruka and Michiru get no development at allnot to mention that Haruka's feelings for Usagi never sound to be resolved.

Most people know Haruka and Michiru from the anime, and quite honestly I've not study the manga in years, so I'm not going to be able to debate their portrayal there very well. Just due to the fact that it had more time to reveal the story, the anime ended up having many more openly LGBTQ characters, and those that were already established as such received more development and point. Back in , the anime presented us with a mature, committed lesbian couple. That's extremely rare in anime and manga, even today. Sure, you contain lesbian characters and even the occasio

Saint Seiya Tier list (Original/G/LC/ND/Omega)

Seiya maintains a cosmos equivalent to that of a god all the time, not only for a scant seconds.

Titan isn&#;t a god, Saturn easily defeated Seiya with very little trouble really, I fail to observe how Seiya ever accomplished anything in Omega that would put on his Elysion lvl.

In Episode G, Lancelot carrying the God Cancer and this does not disappear soon, this keeps its shape all the time.

Episode G doesn&#;t freaking matter in that context because the identical studio that did Omega also did Soul of Gold and in Essence of Gold the God Gold Cloths go support to their previous forms just like in the Original Manga.
As I said before it&#;s similar to Seiya&#;s armor evolving after it&#;s been rebuilt in the original series, the shape of the armor changes, it become more powerful but it&#;s not a God Cloth at all.

Seiya (fighting with high gods) >>>>>>>>> Bronze Saints (Chapter Hades).
